Grief

Finding healing through connection, strength, and brain-based therapy.

You might be here because you're tired of carrying the weight of your past. Maybe memories from childhood or adult trauma show up as overwhelming emotions, anxiety, grief, or a feeling that you’re just not yourself. You want relief—you want to feel like you again.

I help people process trauma in a way that allows them to move forward. Whether you’re a first responder impacted by the daily intensity of your work, or someone struggling with the long-term effects of trauma, you don’t have to face it alone. I specialize in Brainspotting, a powerful and focused technique that helps clients access and process unresolved trauma, leading to lasting emotional relief and improved mental well-being. Reach out today to see if I’m the right support for your journey.

MODALITIES

  • Brainspotting helps target previous trauma by utilizing visual points to activate the body’s natural healing process.

  • ACT encourages accepting thoughts and feelings, even when they’re unpleasant, while committing to actions aligned with personal values.

  • CBT focuses on reframing negative thought patterns and changing behaviors to improve mental health.

  • Grief Therapy helps individuals process loss, navigate the emotional impact of grief, and find healthy ways to adjust to life after a significant loss.

Sessions with me are…

I believe in meeting you exactly where you are—whether you’re struggling with past trauma or navigating the challenges of your everyday life. Our time together will be a blend of calm, warmth, and honesty, creating a space where you can explore difficult emotions while also finding strength and healing. I’ll help you tap into your own resilience, all while guiding you through the transformative work of healing in a way that feels both safe and empowering. I believe in a strong therapeutic relationship where honesty, growth, and change can thrive, and I’ll be right beside you every step of the way.

My background

I hold a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and a Master’s in Counseling from The University of Memphis. My professional experience includes outpatient therapy with children and adults, partial hospitalization work with adults, inpatient mental health and detox programs, and supervisory roles supporting fellow therapists at a large community agency.

Outside of work, I love spending time with my family, traveling, playing board games, and attending conventions to continue expanding my therapy toolbox—so I can bring the best possible support to the clients I serve.
