Speaking & Training
Reflections staff provides professional training and educational presentations for Police, Fire, and First Responder personnel and spouses.
Amy Albert, MSW, LCSW, CSAC and Rebecca Mahan-Strupp, MA, LPC, Owner & EMDR Consultant, both have lived experience as spouses of first responders and years of professional counseling of first responder personnel and their families.
All training and educational topics include education on complex topics that come with an understanding of shift work challenges, heirarchal government systems, a survival mindset, and, at times, a morbid sense of humor. Our presenters understand the skepticism and stigma around mental health topics, and can help your department navigate the "it's all bullshit" mindset.
