SMART (Sensory Motor Arousal Regulation Treatment) is an intervention out of the Trauma Center at JRI. This therapy model allows children and adolescents to utilize Reflection’s giant bean bags, trampoline, exercise balls, and balance beam, and weighted blankets to engage both their brains and bodies to help facilitate healing and connection through movement and play. SMART is typically used as a part of other interventions.
