Here to help you find happiness, enjoy healthy relationships, and embrace who you truly are

Life isn't quite adding up to what you imagined. Does it seem like something is missing? You’re tired and just want to feel better, but nothing you’ve tried has seemed to work. It's even harder when nobody truly understands what you're going through. But here you are—because you refuse to stay stuck. I understand firsthand how challenging this journey can be, but I want to assure you: there's hope for healing and happiness ahead.

As someone who's navigated the complexities of being a first-generation professional and a single parent, I understand the unique cultural and familial dynamics that may have shaped your experiences. That's why I specialize in supporting individuals struggling with trauma, anxiety, and comorbid eating disorders—issues that can often feel isolating and overwhelming. With me, you'll find a safe, judgment-free space to explore the connections between your cultural background, your relationships, and your journey toward healing.

My approach is deeply personal and empathetic. I believe in the power of genuine connection and humor to help us navigate even the most challenging of circumstances. I see our work as a collaborative effort: I’ll meet you where you are and we’ll move forward together to reach your goals. I like to say that I’m a “library of resources.” This means full transparency, so that’s exactly what’s available to help you. It’s how we can get to where you want to be.

Together, we'll work at your pace to uncover the roots of your struggles and develop practical strategies for moving forward. Your well-being is my priority, and I'm here to support you every step of the way. If you're ready to reclaim control of your life and cultivate healthier relationships—with yourself and others—let's begin this journey together. Reach out today to schedule a consultation.

Sessions with me are…

Down-to-earth.

You are the only expert of you, and I’ll honor your story, no matter what it looks like. I’m known for being flexible, easy to relate to, and when appropriate, using my sense of humor. Everything is at your pace, because your goals are important, and what you’re trying to get out of life matters. Generally, I schedule sessions weekly or every other week so there are available spots for you in my calendar.

My background

I received my Master’s degree from the University of Houston - Clear Lake in Clinical Psychology and a Bachelor’s of Science from the University of Houston. I’m currently completing a PhD in Counselor Education and Supervision at Mount Mary University. I specialize in the treatment of eating disorders and trauma but have extensive experience in various modalities aimed to help build better quality of life. Outside of work, I love spending time with my family and cats. I’m always up for learning something new, and you’ll often find me playing video games or crafting.
